It’s spring, and luckily the weather is starting to get better 🌿☀️ The days are getting milder, and you feel more like heading outside and doing something cozy in the garden, on the terrace, or on the balcony.
If you’d like to get started growing a little yourself, a raised bed is an easy and manageable way to begin. You get a fixed place for your plants, and you can take it nice and slow, depending on your time and desire.
Our plastic raised beds make it extra easy. They’re easy to handle, assemble quickly without tools, and are therefore also ideal for balconies, where weight and space matter.

When you garden in a raised bed, good hand tools are a great help. You work close to the soil, and with the right equipment, both filling, planting, and weeding become much easier.
We have a large selection of sturdy garden tools that are perfect for raised beds. If you want to start simple, a hand trowel or planting trowel, a weeding claw, and a good pair of pruning shears make a really good set for most tasks.
When you grow in a raised bed, a good watering can is really nice to have. It makes it easy to water precisely, even between small plants, and you avoid washing away soil and seeds.
For smaller raised beds, 4 to 5 liters is often the most practical everyday size because it’s easy to handle. If you have several beds, or you’d like to make fewer trips to the tap, 8 to 10 liters is a good choice if you’re okay with the weight.
Below we show some of our watering cans in exactly those sizes - see the full selection in the shop
