🌢️ Now it’s time to start seedlings

Now that the light is returning, it’s an ideal time to get started with seed starting. When you sow indoors in February/March, you give the plants a strong head start and often get an earlier and more stable start to the season.

For example, this is when many people start chili peppers, peppers, tomatoes, brassicas (broccoli, cauliflower, kale), leeks, and lettuce – and if you also want more flowers in the garden and in pots, you can start summer flowers such as marigold, calendula, and sweet pea.

Below we’ve put together a selection of our seed trays and mini greenhouses, which make it easy to keep track of both moisture, light, warmth, and space on the windowsill.

If you’d like to read more, we’ve just published an article about seed starting in our new blog, where you’ll get a ➑️ step-by-step guide with tips on watering, light, and timing

πŸ’§ Small accessories for pre-sprouting

It is often the small things that make pre-sprouting simpler in practice. A small watering can provides gentle watering without washing seeds and soil around, and small tools make it easier to sow, prick out, and repot without damaging the seedlings. Below, we have gathered practical accessories that go well with seed trays and mini greenhouses.
